In a Call
When the call is active, the following
operations can be done in the call view:
End : Touch to end the current call.
Mute/UnMute : While the active call is
hands-free, touch the Mute option to mute
the microphone, and touch it again to
unmute.
Add : Touch to add another call.
Cellphone/Hands free : While the active call
is hands-free, touch the Cellphone option to
switch to the handset mode. While the
active call is on the handset, touch the
Hands free option to switch to the
hands-free mode.
When a second call is added or a new call is
answered, the two calls information will be
displayed in the call view. To switch
between calls, touch the call information of
the call on hold to change calls.
Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay capability may be available
through a compatible smartphone.
If available, the Apple CarPlay icon will
appear on the Home Page of the
infotainment display. Please verify your
mobile phone supports the phone projection
function.
To use Apple CarPlay:
1. There is no app required for Apple
CarPlay.
2. Connect your Apple iPhone by using the
factory-provided phone USB cable and
plugging into a USB data port. For best
performance, it is highly recommended
to use the device s factory-provided USB
cable. Aftermarket or third-party cables
may not work.
3. Touch the Apple Carplay icon on the
Home Page to lanuch Apple CarPlay.
Press on the center stack to return to the
Home Page.

Phone Assistant Voice Recognition

Press and hold on the steering wheel
controls to pass through and launch Siri
(iPhone) , then a tone sounds to indicate
that Apple CarPlay system is ready for a
voice command. Wait for the tone and then
speak.

Text Messaging

If equipped, the infotainment system may
allow text messages to be received and
replied to.
Not all phones with Bluetooth support text
messaging function. A request may need to
be accepted on the phone or some phone
settings may need to be changed to allow
text messaging to function. See the cell
phone manufacturer's user guide.
