Speed Limiter

The speed limiter prevents the vehicle
exceeding a preset maximum speed. The
maximum speed can be set at a speed
above 25 km/h.
The driver can only accelerate up to the
preset speed. Deviations from the limited
speed may occur when driving downhill.
The preset speed limit is displayed in the
Driver Information Center (DIC) when the
system is active.
: Press to turn the system on or off.
The indicator turns white on the instrument
cluster when the speed limiter is turned on.
When the speed limiter is turned on during
the cruise control, cruise control is
turned off.
RES+ : If there is a set speed in memory,
press up briefly to resume that speed or
press and hold to accelerate. If speed limiter
is already active, use to increase vehicle
speed.
SET : Press down briefly to set the speed
and activate the speed limiter. If the speed
limiter is already active, use to decrease
vehicle speed.
: Press to disengage speed limiter. The
vehicle can drive without speed limit. When
cruise control is turned on while the speed
limiter is activated, speed limiter is
turned off.
Set Speed Limit
To set speed limit, press to SET . The speed
limit is displayed on Driver Information
Center (DIC).
Change Speed Limit
To change speed limit, press to RES+ to
increase or SET to decrease the desired
maximum speed.
Exceeding Speed Limit
In the event of an emergency, it is possible
to exceed the speed limit by depressing the
accelerator pedal firmly nearly to the final
point. Release the accelerator pedal and the
speed limiter is reactivated once a speed
lower than the limit speed is obtained.
Deactivation of Speed Limiter
To deactivate speed limiter, to Press
vehicle can be driven without speed limit.
Erasing Speed Memory
The cruise control set speed is erased from
memory if
is pressed or if the ignition is
turned off.
