    Charging the Unit

NOTE: When the unit is on and not connected to a power source, the Power/Charging/Pairing Indicator Light flashing red means the battery needs charging.

Using Bluetooth: Pairing Your Device

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth-enabled device and turn on Bluetooth capability as described in the device's user manual.
  2. Move the Power OFF/Bluetooth/Aux Switch on the unit to the Bluetooth position (center). The unit will turn on and attempt to auto link to a previously paired device for 10 seconds, indicated by a 3 note tone and the Power/Charging/Pairing Indicator Light on the back of the unit flashing blue. If a linked device is found, the indicator will glow solid blue.
  3. If no linked device is found, the unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a 2 note tone and the Power/Charging/Pairing Indicator Light on the back of the unit will flash blue and red while the unit attempts to pair. NOTE: If the unit is charging while pairing is attempted, the light will continue to glow red (it will not blink blue and red). "iBT16" should appear on your device's menu. If "Not Connected" or similar appears on your display, tap on the "iBT16" to begin pairing. If your device asks for a password, enter 1234 on the keyboard of your device. If no device is paired within 2 minutes, a tone will sound and the unit will revert to auto link mode. To retry pairing, move the Power OFF/Bluetooth/Aux Switch to the OFF position (left) then move it back to the Bluetooth position (center).
  4. Once paired with a device, the Power/Charging/Pairing Indicator Light on the back of the unit will glow blue steadily. There should be an indication on your device that pairing is complete. On some devices, you must then select "Use as Audio Device" or similar on the device's Bluetooth menu. Once paired, your device should link to the iBT16 whenever within range.

Pairing with a Different Device
