The SPINEFITTER by SISSEL ® Linum is a hot/cold pack filled with
linseed for targeted, local heat or cold treatment of the muscles in
the spinal column. Warming and cooling treatments use the
reactions of the skin, the subcutis, the musculature and deep
tissue layers to the respective temperature stimulus.
The SPINEFITTER by SISSEL ® Linum can be used individually or in
combination with the SPINEFITTER by SISSEL®, on which it can be
securely attached thanks to the side pockets and the central band
roles.
Warming
Place the product folded in the microwave and try to
find the optimum heating time (e. g. 600 Watt: 2 min;
1000 Watt: 60-90 sec).
Remove the product from the microwave and check the
temperature. If further heating is required, shake the
product, and heat it again for 20 seconds. Repeat this
until the desired temperature is reached.
Preheat the oven to 70°C (160°F). Place the product
folded on the middle shelf of the oven for 4 to 6 min.
Remove the product from the oven and check the
temperature. If further heating is required, shake the
product, and heat it again for 1 to 2 min. Repeat this
until the desired temperature is reached.
For a deep, moist heat, add a fireproof, waterfilled bowl in the
microwave or in the oven.
Cooling
Place the product in a suitable plastic bag in the
refrigerator or freezer for at least 2 hours.
The SPINEFITTER by SISSEL ® Linum is designed for a maximum user
weight limit of 150 kg (330 lbs).

Safety Instructions:
➢ Check the condition of the product before each use. If damaged,
the function of the product and safety are no longer

guaranteed. Leaking filling can cause skin burns and risk of
choking.
➢ Risk of injury! The heat may be unevenly distributed at first. It is
important to shake the product well after each heating cycle to
distribute the temperature evenly in the filling.
➢ Risk of injury! Never place the product directly on the skin,
always use a thin cotton cloth or your cloth as an intermediate
layer.
➢ Check the temperature at your wrist before use. Pay extra
attention before use by heat/cold-sensitive people, such as
children under the age of 3.
➢ Use on children only under the supervision of and with
instructions from adults. DO NOT use on infants or children
under the age of three! They are not able to remove a source of
heat/cold if they feel uncomfortable.
➢ DO NOT use the heated product if you suffer from any disorders
like inflammation, open wounds, oedema, infections,
dermatitis, thrombosis etc.
➢ DO NOT use the cooled product if you suffer from any disorders
like cold intolerance/allergy, Raynaud's syndrome, open
wounds, etc.
➢ STOP USING immediately if you feel uncomfortable or any pain
or dizziness occurs.
➢ The product and their accessories are no toys and should be
kept out of the reach of children. DO NOT allow children to play
with them. Danger of choking!
➢ Only apply the product for as long as you find it comfortable -
max. 20 minutes. Before applying the grain pillow again, the
treated area should remain uncovered for 20 minutes.
➢ DO NOT use the product in combination with the SPINEFITTER
by SISSEL® for exercises performed in a standing or kneeling
position, as slipping of the product could lead to loss of balance
or slipping off the exercise equipment.
➢ Do not wet the pack.
➢ This product is not a toy, keep it out of reach of children.
➢ The filling of the product is not suitable for consumption.
➢ Supervise warm up. Overheating can destroy the product and
there is a risk of fire. DO NOT heat the product in a water bath
or grill.
Care & Hygiene:
The product cannot be washed, cleaned or disinfected. Always
protect from moisture, dry carefully.
DO NOT use detergents, cleaning agents and disinfectants.
For storage, protect the product from direct sunlight and store it
in a dark, dry place.
