When installing on the ground, a concrete base must be installed, with no
rigid connection to the building served to avoid the transmission of
vibrations. Position a rubber floor support.
1. Dig a run-off channel with a pebble bed.
2. Install a concrete base frame with a minimum height of 200 mm
capable of bearing the weight of the outdoor unit.
3. Position a rubber floor support.
4. Install the outdoor unit on the concrete base frame.

For maintenance and vibration reasons the preferred location of the
outdoor unit is on solid ground. However, mounting the outdoor unit on
wall brackets is an option.
When mounting the outdoor unit on wall brackets, pay attention to
following points:
Use the right wall bracket and anti-vibration dampers.
Choose a solid wall with enough mass to damp vibrations.
Use sound decoupling wall plugs for concrete or stone.
Choose a location that is easily accessible for maintenance.
Make sure the outdoor unit can move the air it needs freely.
Make sure the melting water can be discarded easily when defrosting
(when the air conditioner is used as heat pump).

1. Connect the condensate pipe to the outdoor unit with the drain
connector from accessory bag and use a hose clamp to secure.
2. Position the pipe with a downwards gradient of 30°. The pipe should
not rise at any point.
3. Protect the condensate pipe and drain tap against frost, by insulating
them with rubber insulation of 8 mm thickness or more.
