Mode set
You can change various mode setting on the Mode Set screen by following procedure described below.
A
Access the Mode Set screen.
Press MENU.
B
Select the mode.
Press R/T to move the pointer to the item you want to change.
C
Select the mode setting.
Press Y/U.
D
Return to the normal screen.
Press MENU.

* The default setting is bold in the table below.
When the function is set to "ON", various operational
indicators appear on the TV screen.
NOTE:
When you use this video cassette player as the source player for
editing, be sure to set " O.S.D." to " OFF " before starting.
You can set the B.E.S.T. (Biconditional Equalized Signal
Tracking) system to "ON " or "OFF ". (See "B.E.S.T. picture
system" (
pg. 13))
Set appropriate TV system that matches the system of TV being
used.
