    To prevent double feeding, separate any documents which have been stapled together or stacked, as in a file, before setting in the scanner. 1 Fan the stack of documents to separate all of the edges. 2 Hold both ends of the document and bend them as shown to the right.
  • Page 35 Place the documents on the hopper with the side to be scanned facing up. Then push them in the direction of the arrow until they stop. • Place the documents on the hopper by matching them with the left side of the hopper as shown in the diagrams at the right.

NOTE : There is no CIS glass and no sensor roller for the KV-S6050W / KV-S6050WU. • If the documents that will be scanned are dirty, then the scanner parts may become dirty as well.

    Clean the sensor roller. (See pages 47 through 50.) Turn the computer OFF. Turn the scanner ON, and then turn the computer ON again. Confirm the SCSI ID, product ID and terminator, and then set them correctly. Use a shielded cable which is as short as possible.
