5. ADjUSTING THE MACHINE HEAD
(DIRECT-DRIvE MOTOR TYPE SEWING MACHINE ONLY)
WARNING :
Be sure to perform the angle adjustment of the machine head by the operation below before using
the machine head.

) Smultaneously pressng swtch 1 and swtch 2 ,
turn ON the power swtch.
2) s dsplayed A n the ndcator and the
mode s changed over to the adjustment mode.
3) Turn the handwheel by hand and angle B s ds-
played n the ndcator when the reference sgnal
has been detected.
(The value s the reference value.)
4) In ths state, algn the whte dot 2 of the hand-
wheel wth the concave 3 of the handwheel
cover as shown in the figure.
5) Press swtch 4 to finish the adjustment work.
