Making cellular calls

Press {CELL 1} or {CELL 2}.

Dial the phone number.
{CELL 1} or {CELL 2} again or wait
for 5 seconds.
*1 Dial the next digit within 5
seconds, otherwise the unit starts
dialing.

When the other party answers,
speak into the microphone.
L Speak alternately with the other
party.

When you finish talking, press {SP-
PHONE}.
Note:
L For best performance, use the
speakerphone in a quiet environment.
L While on a call, you can switch from
the base unit to the handset:
With the privacy mode off (page 23),
press {CELL} on the handset. i
{V}/{^}: Select the desired cellular
phone. i {SELECT} i Press
{SP-PHONE} on the base unit.
– When only 1 cellular phone is
registered or the line is set to make
cellular calls (page 18), press
{CELL} on the handset, then press
{SP-PHONE} on the base unit.
If the handset is on the base unit,
simply lift it.
Adjusting the speaker volume
Press {^} or {V} repeatedly while
talking.
Redialing the last number dialed

Answering calls
When a cellular call is being received,
the CELL 1 or CELL 2 indicator flashes
rapidly. When a landline call is being
received, the SP-PHONE indicator
flashes rapidly.

L If the cellular line only mode is turned
{SP-PHONE} i Dial the phone
number.
When the other party answers,
