SAFETY WARNING TO AVOID
EYE INJURIES
This product according to the IEC 62471-5:2015
becomes Risk Group 2 (RG2), but it becomes
Risk Group 3 (RG3) at use of high throw ratio
(TR) lens.

LENSES CATEGORIZED AS RISK
GROUP 3 (RG3) SHALL BE FOR
CEILING INSTALLATION ONLY. ANY
OTHER INSTALLATION IS
PROHIBITED.
BEFORE USING SUCH LENSES,
PLEASE CONTACT SONY'S
AUTHORIZED DEALER.
RG2 projectors can be safely used in all situations,
except if intra-beam (direct) viewing is intended at
close distance.
As with any bright light source, do not stare into
the beam, RG2 IEC 62471-5:2015
Risk Group 3 (RG3) products pose a potential
hazard even for momentary exposures from direct,
intra-beam viewing at close distance (in Hazard
Distance).
No direct exposure to the beam shall be
permitted, RG3 IEC 62471-5:2015

lenses of this product are shown in the following
table.
