・ Check if the thread take-up spring is too strong.
Reduce the strength of the thread take-up spring.
・ Check if the thread take-up spring has an excessive operating range.
Lower the position of the thread take-up spring.
・ Check that the remaining amount of needle thread from the needle
hole is not short after thread trimming.
Adjust the pretension.
・ Isn't the thread not sharp?
Grind or replace the fixed blade with an oilstone. Replace the
moving blade.
・ Check if the needle is too thick.
Replace the needle with a narrow one.
・ Check that the bobbin thread protruding from the bobbin case is not
too short after thread trimming.
Replace the anti-slip spring of the bobbin case if the bobbin
idles.
・ Is the speed at the start of sewing too fast?
Set the operation panel with slow start.
・ Is the needle upward stop position too high?
Adjust the needle upward stop position.

・ Is the presser foot pressure too weak?
Adjust the presser foot pressure.
・ Is the height of the feed dog too low?
Adjust the height of the feed dog.
・ Is the bobbin scratched?
If it is damaged, correct it.
Or replace the bobbin.

Decrease the needle thread tension as much as possible.
・ Check if bobbin thread tension is too strong.
Lower the bobbin thread tension as much as possible.
・ Is the needle tip crushed?
Replace the needle if it is crushed.
・ Check if the needle is too thick.
Replace the needle with a smaller one as much as possible.
・ Check if the thread take-up spring is too strong.
Decrease the strength of the thread take-up spring as much as
possible.
・ Check if the thread take-up spring has an excessive operating range.
Lower the position of the thread take-up spring as much as
possible.
・ Is the presser foot pressure too strong?
Adjust the presser foot pressure.
・ Is the sewing speed too fast?
Set the maximum sewing speed slower in small increments on
the operation panel.
・ Is the inclination of the feed dog appropriate?
Keep the feed tooth slightly down.
