●Things to be kept in mind for using the instrument (cont.)
Caution
Memory protection
・Make sure to take backup of data in internal memory on a PC or others. Data on SD
card may get corrupted or be lost due to deterioration or other reasons. Also, data may
be lost by malfunction or when repaired.
Storage area
・Do not place/store the instrument in humid or dusty place. It may cause fire or electrical
shock.
・Do not place/store the instrument on or by a cooking counter or a humidifier. Fumes
and steam may cause fire or electrical shock.
Do not leave the instrument in closed location while its power turned ON
・The instrument temperature increases due to the heat created by electrical parts inside
when it is turned ON. Leaving the instrument for long period of time in closed location,
such as inside of a carrying case, heat dissipation may interfered causing the
instrument temperature to increase. The instrument will turn its power OFF
automatically in case its internal temperature exceeds certain degree.
・To avoid overheating by leaving the instrument with its power turned ON for long
period of time, we recommend you to have Automatic Power-OFF function activated.
Furthermore, the default setting for Automatic Power-OFF is "5 min".
Do not place/store it on an unstable place
・Do not place/store the instrument on a unstable or high place. It may drop and cause
injury or malfunction of the instrument.
Operation
・Do not operate or look at the screen while moving. May cause to trip or fall.
Improper use of the instrument ignoring this caution may cause human injury or
property damage.
