ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS JDx7xx with 7 Iron Deck and others...

IMPORTANT!! After assembly, please be sure to operate the Deck Dolly on level, hard surfaces only. Standing the Deck Dolly in the upright position on soft or uneven surfaces may lead to injury and/or damage. Assembly Instructions 1) Open packaging and inspect to ensure contents are complete.

2 Uprights with end plugs. 2- JD 7 Iron Brackets and Safety latches with hardware as shown above.

3) Preassemble the bottom cross support tube and brackets as shown with ¼ “x 2 ¼” bolts while leaving the nuts loose. 4) Preassemble the Upper Deck Support as shown below with 4 - 1/2” nuts. 5) Preassemble the Base Plates and Tires as shown below. The serrated nuts should be on the inside and the nylon lock nuts should be to the outside of the base plate.

6) Tap ends caps into Uprights as shown below. 7) Assemble the pieces as shown below hand tight with ¼”x2 ¼” bolts. 8) The Base Plate may be tightened when assembled as shown below with 5/16” x 1 ¼” bolts. Note: shown with single wheels for illustration only.

Insure that the latch is properly orientated as shown above. With the Deck Dolly preassembled, lay the unit over the deck and align the brackets with the rod in the deck mount. Depending on how it fits you may have to move the brackets to the other side of the Upright.

Tighten these bolts. You should now align and tighten the lower cross support tube when the brackets are centered in the lower deck mount. Check all bolts for tightness before operating the Deck Dolly.

Operating Instructions: Lay the dolly over the mower deck engaging the bottom bracket hooks with the bolts in the rear mount of the deck and the upper mount rod engaging the front hook on the deck.. Once the deck’s mounting bolt is in the dolly bracket and the top dolly shaft is engaged with the deck’s front hook, flip latch so that the top hole in the Latch aligns with the hole in the leg of the dolly.
