Page 2 IMPORTANT!! After assembly, please be sure to operate the Deck Dolly on level, hard surfaces only. Standing the Deck Dolly in the upright position on soft or uneven surfaces may lead to injury and/or damage. Assembly Instructions 1) Open packaging and inspect to ensure contents are complete.
Page 3 2 Uprights with end plugs. JD4x5 Brackets 3) Preassemble the bottom cross support tube and brackets as shown with ¼ “x 2 ¼” bolts while leaving the nuts loose.
Page 4 4) Preassemble the Upper Deck Support as shown below with 4 1/2” nuts. 5) Preassemble the Base Plates and Tires as shown below. The regular nut should be on the inside and the serrated nut should be to the outside of the base plate. Take care to tighten the bolt and nuts to allow the tire to spin freely but not be loose on the bolt.
Page 5 7) Assemble the pieces as shown below hand tight with ¼”x2 ¼” bolts. The Base may be tightened when assembled as shown below with 5/16” x 1 ¼” bolts.
Page 6 Start with the lowest set of holes. 9) With the Deck Dolly preassembled, lay the unit over the deck and insert the J-hooks into the large holes. Once you are satisfied with the fit you may now tighten the bolts on the brackets.
Page 7 Tighten these bolts. You should now align and tighten the lower cross support tube when the brackets are centered in the lower deck mount. Check all bolts for tightness before operating the Deck Dolly.
