VIII. FAULT DIAGNOSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
For your convenience, the

horn will beep twice signaling a fault has occurred, followed by the number of beeps indicating the
type of fault. These are described in the table below.

Check the controller connection.
Check the harness for damage.
Check the right motor and wiring harness.
Make sure the right brake lever is in the "DRIVE" position.
Check the right brake and harness for physical damage.
Check the left motor and wiring harness.
Make sure the left brake lever is in the "DRIVE" position.
Check the left brake and harness for physical damage.
Make sure both left and right brakes release and engage,
when operating the power wheelchair. Exceeding the maxi-

mum weight capacity or the maximum incline of 6 degrees.
Turn off the controller and let it cool down. Reduce the
weight and/or degree of incline while operating the pow-er
wheelchair.
Make sure the joystick returns to the center position
when released and is not engaged while powering up.
Failure of the controller itself. Contact your local Golden
Technologies, Inc. representative or retailer.
Charge the battery pack.
Replace the battery pack if it will not charge or hold a charge.
