PRODUCT DESTINATION AND CHARACTERISTICS

Reef Circulator circulator pump is designed to circulate water in small and mid-sized marine reef aquariums. It consists of miniature body fitted on an arm equipped with a magnetic hanger similar to classic algae cleaner – one part is located inside of a tank, the second one outside on its wall. Precise and almost unrestricted setting of the output direction is allowed by an articulated joint of the pump body with the hanger, furthermore specially designed amortization system eliminates any potential vibrations. Unique engine is another advantage of the pump, as it is very low power, it does not cause excessive water heating. It is very important in reef aquariums as maintaining constant water temperature is crucial for protection of its inhabitants against overheating (some shrimps and corals are particularly sensitive). Small size of the device facilitate its easy concealment among rocks and other decorative elements inside the tank. Virtually noiseless operation provides complete comfort of usage.

CONDITIONS OF SAFE USAGE

The devide you purchased was manufactured in conformity with all safety standards currently in force on the area of European Union. For long lasting and safe usage please read the safety conditions below:

The device is designed for usage only indoors and accordingly to its destination.
The device can be powered from a power grid of voltage stated on the device.
A device that is damaged or has a damaged power cord must not be used. The condition of the power cord should be checked prior to every start-up of the device. The power cord must not be repaired, replaced or have any additional elements installed. In case of damaging the cord the entire device should be replaced.
The maximum submergence depths is stated in technical specification.
Prior to placing hand in the water, all of the electric devices present in the tank should be unplugged from power.
After removing the device from water it should be left for a few minutes to cool.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The power cord should be connected to the electric grid in the way presented on fig. 2, so that a part of the cord hangs freely below the ballast. The objective is to prevent potential flooding of the ballast with water in case of it condensing on the power cord.

Condition of safe usage of the magnetic hanger:

very strong magnet!
Due to risk of injury, keep out of reach of children. The two parts of the hanger should not be directly connected because of strong attraction force amounting to 25-50kg – depending on the model. The halves of the hanger should be held only by the sides, never put fingers between the attracting surfaces. In order to avoid body injury, all metal products, other magnets and sharp metal items should be placed in distance bigger than 10cm from the hanger. It is recommended to keep at least 30cm distance in case of data carriers, magnetic cards or other devices/ items sensitive to magnetic field (e.g. cardiac pacemakers).
