You can play a DVD movie
only from a DVD-ROM
drive. When you are
finished watching a movie,
store the DVD in its
protective case.
Tip
You can control the actions of
the DVD player (pause,
rewind, etc.) from the CD/DVD
control buttons on the
keyboard.

Playing a DVD Movie

1. For best performance, close all running programs before
inserting a DVD movie, and insert the DVD into the
DVD-ROM drive. Playback should begin automatically.
2. If playback does not begin automatically, click the Start
button on the Windows taskbar.
3. Point to Programs, and then Compaq DVD Express.
4. Choose Compaq DVD Player and then click the Play
button.
