NSTALLING
Your computer comes with standard 512MB, 1024MB or 2048MB of
synchronous DDR2 SDRAM. You can increase system memory to a
maximum of 4 GB in the system, by installing two small outline double inline
memory modules (SO-DIMMs) with installed base memory in the system.
The 512MB, 1024MB and 2048MB memory modules are available:
To install the memory module:
1.
Make sure the system is powered off, the battery also is removed and that
no peripheral devices are attached.
2.
Turn the computer upside-down and locate the screws that secure the
DIMM door at the underside of the notebook.
3.
Remove the screws and open the DIMM cover by your finger.
4.
Locate the memory module into the empty memory module sockets.
(Your system comes with one memory module already installed in the
socket.)
