RETURN TO NEUTRAL ASSEMBLY

Refer to Figure 8
Disassembly
1. Remove all items previously discussed in
their recommended order.
2. Remove the RTN control arm kit (211) by
first removing the spring (147) and Torx
head screw (46), discard the screw. The
remaining members of the assembly can be
removed as a single item – washer (146),
unidirectional scissor arm kit (145), and the
control arm (44).
3. Remove the Allen head screw (142), washer
(45), neutral arm (141) and spacer (140).
NOTE: Only remove the seal (41) if damaged
or worn. The seal is not part of the
RTN control arm kit (211), and cannot
be serviced separately. Refer to "Seal
Kit" in the Items List on pager 46.
Inspection
1. Inspect all parts for excessive wear or dam-
age. Replace if necessary.
