• On commercial premises, the accident prevention regulations of
the Association of Industrial Professional Associations with res-
pect to electrical systems and operating equipment must be ob-
served.
• In schools, training centres and DIY workshops, the use of this
2-pole Voltage Tester to make measurements must be responsi-
bly supervised by trained personnel.
• Never use the 2-pole Voltage Tester immediately after it has been
moved from a cold into a warm room. The condensation created
may destroy your appliance. Leave the appliance switched off
until it has reached room temperature
• Electrostatic charging caused by fabric rubbing against the pla-
stic housing may affect measurement results.

Product Description

The 2-pole Voltage Tester is a handy "quick tester" with universal
applications in DIY, schools and, to a limited extent, at work.
The tester can be used to ascertain whether alternating or direct
voltage is present on appropriate insulated terminals or socket-out-
lets. In the case of direct voltages above 6 V, polarity can also be
checked ("+" and "-").
Visual indication is provided on high-contrast red LEDs. No power
supply is required because the tester is powered by the measuring-
circuit voltage. The measuring-circuit voltage is loaded by up to
approximately 30 mA during measurement.
