Optional parity bit enable
Some systems require parity bit checking. Consult the
system documentation for the specific requirements.
See figures in Section 3 for location of Parity Bit Enable
jumper. Jumper-on enables parity reporting by the
SCSI bus.
DC power connection
Drive model numbers ending in "N" or "ND" receive DC
power through a 4 pin connector mounted on the PCB
next to the 50 pin SCSI I/O connector. See Figures 1
and 2.
Drive model numbers ending in "NC" get DC power
from the host computer through the 80 pin I/O connec-
tor. No separate DC power connector is provided.
