2 System Overview

This chapter describes the overall system features and includes the following topics:
The 7750 SR ESA 100G extends the level of networking functionality and
generalized processing for IP/MPLS routing applications and integrated services on
the Nokia 7750 Service Router (SR).
The 7750 SR ESA 100G is supported by 7750 SR-s eXpandable Media Adapter
(XMA-s), Input/Output Module (IOM-s), and 7750 SR IOM line cards. It is directly
connected to the 7750 SR at 100G interface speeds, using QSFP optical
transceivers in the SR system and on the ESA NIC.

connections to the 7750 SR ESA 100G, refer to SR OS Software Release Notes.
