2.9 Preset values in function setup:
Switching between the preset function can be done by pressing the FUNC button or with the mouse in the indication field.
2.9.1 Automatic selection og N up and Head up
You can force radar in HUP when the function is selected in the function setup.

Function
USE
COAST:
Short area, many boats / echo and maximum resolution
SEA:
Relatively long area, such as in open sea
Fishing:
Small echoes, buoys at short range that can hide in sea echoes
Storm:
Lots of sea and rain, Rain and Sea feature is powerful as well the sensitivity is
reduced
Calm:
Little sea and rain echo. Little rain - sea noise and flat sea
Rain:
Little sea, but a lot of rain. Rain Attenuation is increased, and receiver sensitivity
is muted
Bird:
Detection of birds, to see flocks of birds in the distance. (Tuna)
Long:
Small echoes at long range. To see echoes at a relatively long distance in open
sea.
Buoy:
Buoys outside the sea noise area, to see faint echoes for a bit hold.
