4. Insert the bottom end of the upper post into the top hole of the lower post. There is a
supporting suspension spring installed in the hole of the lower post. Push the upper post to
set the proper height tighten the black knob. Loose this knob to adjust the height of the
post as needed.
5. Insert the fiber optics cable into the cable port and lock the cable with the screw.

ZOOM HEAD INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING:

1. Insert the Colposcope head into the focusing mount (Fig. 5).
2. Tighten the two locking screws (4) by hand (Fig. 5).
3. Insert the eyepieces into the eyepiece tubes of the binocular or trinocular head (Fig. 6).
Care should be taken to keep eyepieces in an upright position as they might slip out and
fall if the head is inverted.
4. Screw the objective lens clockwise onto the bottom of the Colposcope head (Fig. 7).

ZOOM HEAD ADJUSTMENT

1. Simply loosen the thumbscrews; reposition the head and retighten (Figs. 10 and 11).
2. Invert the mount; you can use as either a Colposcope or an upright zoom microscope.
3. Care should be taken to keep eyepieces in an upright position as they may slip out if
inverted, and could be damaged.
4. When changing the eyepieces, hold the Colposcope head with the eyepieces upright,
gently slide the eyepieces from their eye tubes.
5. To replace, gently push the eyepieces back into the eye tubes assuring that they are fully
seated.
6. Do not touch the lenses when handling eyepieces.
