2. Locate the air filter plastic cover and remove by rotating the
fastener counterclockwise and pull the cover off.
3. Remove the foam element.
4. Wash in liquid detergent and water. Squeeze thoroughly dry in
a clean cloth.
5. Saturate in clean engine oil.
6. Squeeze in a clean, absorbent cloth to remove all excess oil.
7. Place the filter in the assembly.
8. Reattach the air filter cover.
9. Reinstall the maintenance cover and rotate the fasteners to
the locked position.

Cleaning the Spark Arrestor

1. Allow the engine to cool completely before servicing the spark
arrestor.
2. Remove the two screws holding the cover plate which retains
the spark arrestor to the muffler.
3. Remove the spark arrestor screen.
4. Carefully remove the carbon deposits from the spark arrestor
screen with a wire brush.
5. Replace the spark arrestor if it is damaged.
6. Position the spark arrestor on the muffler and attach with the
screws removed in step 2.
Failure to clean the spark arrestor will result in poor engine
performance.

Replacing fuel fill Assist LED batteries

1. Ensure the generator is off and the EZ Start dial is in the
"OFF" position.
2. Press down on the fuel light until you hear a click and the
light pops up.
3. Remove the screw as shown below and pull the light away
from the base while supporting the battery so it does not
hang freely and put tension on the battery connector wires.
4. Remove the battery from the battery connectors and replace
with new 9V battery.
5. Ensure the battery connector wires are fully tucked inside the
battery compartment and not pinched between the top and
base of the assembly. Reassemble the assembly and install
the screw removed in step #3.

Adjusting the Governor

Tampering with the factory set governor will void your
warranty.
The air-fuel mixture is not adjustable. Tampering with the governor
can damage your generator and your electrical devices and
will void your warranty. Contact our Technical Support Team at
