Attention:
Use only wheel studs with the
same length code number. Do
not oil or grease the wheel
studs.
Do not damage brake lines,
brake disc, brake pads or the
wheel rim when installing.

sensor cable, the ABS sensor
ring and the ABS sensor.

• Check that the wheel centring
spigot and the contact faces
of wheel hub and spacing
washer are free of grease
• Motorcycle with BMW Integral
OE
ABS
onto wheel centering spigot
• Insert rear wheel into center-
ing hole
• Hand-tighten four wheel
studs 1 with taper rings 2,
then tighten to the specified
preload torque in diagonally
opposite sequence
• Tighten wheel studs 1 to
specified torque in diagonally
opposite sequence
: slip spacing washer 3
