Set t ing t he High Resolut ion Assist funct ion
The High Resolution Assist function enables the high resolution display of
an application that does not support the high resolution mode.

In step 4, check an application when the following occurs in the high resolution mode:
• Performances are largely deteriorated (e.g. game).
• Display is divided into two, characters are distorted, or other operational
irregularities occur.

Tap HiRes f rom t he drop-dow n list on t he Pref erences screen.
The HiRes Preferences screen is displayed.
To enable t he High Resolut ion Assist f unct ion, select Enable
High Resolut ion Assist .
The confirmation dialog box is displayed.
Tap OK.
Select t he applicat ion(s) t hat you do not w ant t o display in
high resolut ion mode in t he list box.
