1 Hard Disk Unit
When the hard disk unit is damaged it is possible to change the
internal hard disk unit located here. (For more information on
changing the hard disk unit, contact your dealer.)
2 SETTING SWITCH
This switch is used when the unit is installed or serviced. Normally
this switch is not used.
3 DATA COPY TERMINAL
This terminal is used when the unit is installed or serviced. Normally
this terminal is not used.
4 MAINTENANCE CONSOLE CONNECT (9pinD-
Sub connector)
This connector is used when the unit is serviced. Normally this
switch is not used.
5 BGV SELECT button
Switches BGV settings. (Background images for when a song is not
selected.)
Each time this button is pushed, the settings change as follows. (For
more information contact your dealer.)
3 OFF (still life image)
AUX 2
6 BGM SELECT button
Switches BGM settings.
Each time this button is pushed, the settings change as follows.

Notes on Changing the Hard Disk Unit
Never attempt to open the door while the lamp which is seen
at the bottom of the hole on the bottom right is lit in red.
Perform operation following the " Replacement procedure "
below.
Precision parts are mounted inside the unit.
Be careful not to touch the internal parts.
Do not apply shock to the unit.
Be sure to observe the above caution
to prevent damaging the unit.

When performing Karaoke, set the KARAOKE SWITCH on both the rear and front panel to ON.
7 WARNING indications
Display related problems to the Controller.
÷ HDD indicator
In case a problem is discovered with the HDD, the indicator lights
in "red."
÷ BACKGROUND IMAGE indicator
In case a problem is discovered with the background image
player, the indicator lights in "red."
÷ INTERNAL TEMP indicator
In case a problem is discovered with temperature inside the unit,
the indicator lights in "orange."
8 Remote control sensor and indicator
Remote control signals are received here.
When remote control signals are being received, the indicator light
turns "red."
9 MODE SELECT AUX ON / OFF switch
Set to ON when the unit is not being used for Karaoke. This setting
can be used when watching a video for example. When set to ON
the function displays will not operate, however the unit functions
normally and Karaoke is possible.
0 MODE SELECT KARAOKE ON / OFF switch
This switch is used when setting up the Controller. Normally this
switch is set to ON.
