sPeciaL settinGs

using the eco (energy-saving) mode

In this mode, if no playback occurs or no input signal is detected for 20 minutes, the unit will automatically enter the standby
mode.
Factory default is "ECO OFF".
1.
Press the main unit's front panel  button (or the remote control unit's DISC PLAYER  button) to set the unit to the
standby mode.
The main unit's front panel power indicator will light red.

While holding the main unit's front panel h OPEN/CLOSE button depressed, press the main unit's front panel  button.
You can change to "ECO OFF" (no automatic switching to the standby mode) by pressing the main unit's front panel
 button or to "ECO ON" (automatic switching to the standby mode) by pressing the main unit's front panel 
button.
CAutION
' When you set the ECO mode on (ECO ON), you can avoid unnecessary power consumption caused by forgetting to switch
off the power.

suppress sacD output level for listening

When playing SACD, if the output is too high and produces distorted sound, this setting will lower the output level to make for
easier listening. At the time of purchase, the factory default setting is DSD modulation 50 % (high output level).
' While holding the main unit's front panel g button depressed, press the main unit's front panel  button.
Each time the button is pressed, the DSD modulation rate alternates between 50 % (high output level) and 100 % (low output
level).

High sampling Mode output

Allows conversion of digital music sampling rate to 44.1 kHz for digital output. At time of purchase, the factory default
sampling rate is set by the upsampling converter to 88.2 kHz.
' While holding the g button depressed, press the  button.
Each time the button is pressed, the sampling rate alternates between 44.1 kHz and 88.2 kHz. Note that in the case of SACD,
the sampling rate is fixed at 44.1 kHz.

using the unit as a D/a converter

' With the play mode set to stop, press the main unit's front panel DAC button (or the remote control unit's DAC
MODE button).
Each time the button is pressed, the mode alternates between "D1 input (XLR)", "D2 input (coaxial)", and "Disc play mode".
When an input signal is received, "In" is displayed; when no signal is being received, "- -" is displayed.

aLL reset

Set to disk replay mode.
ECO mode is set to "ECO OFF".
Set to "DSD modulation 50%" (high-output level).
High-sampling mode is set to 88.2 kHz.
SACD hybrid disk setting is set to the SACD layer.
' With the unit in standby mode, press the  power button while holding the g button depressed.
