Disconnect the Volta 500 unit from the power supply before replacing the fuse, and when changing
accessories.
Proper cooling is essential when operating the Volta 500 unit.
Do not place the Volta 500 unit in direct sunlight.
Extension cords. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.
When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will
draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. Only
cords of 2.5mm or larger may be used.
Please ensure that the extension cord does not present a tripping hazard.
Never
immerse the Volta 500 unit in water or any other liquid or use when wet.
Do not insert foreign objects into the Volta 500 unit's outlets.
Do not operate the Volta 500 unit near flammable materials, fumes or gases.
Do not use this Volta 500 unit with medical devices or in medical locations. It is not tested for medical
applications.

6 Equipment Features Volta 500

6.1 How This Volta 500 Unit Works

The inverter is an electronic device that converts low voltage DC (direct current) electricity from the battery to 230 volts
AC (alternating current) household power. The battery is charged when it is plugged into the mains supply.
Plug items into the Volta 500 unit that you need to be powered, keeping in mind the unit's capacity of 500W. The Volta
500 unit is not suitable for use with appliances with electric motors such as fridges, washing machines, air conditioners
etc.

7 Equipment Supplied

The following equipment is required to complete the installation;
500 W Volta 500-unit module, with 230V electrical cable and 2 pin plug. (

8 Equipment Installation Instructions Volta 500

8.1 Installation - Volta 500 Unit

Carefully unpack the Volta 500 unit from the box, please retain the original packaging and this manual for future
reference and use.
Inspect the Volta 500 unit for any damage such as scratches, dents, marked panels, damaged plug receptacles, and
labelling. If found to be damaged, please contact Stage Zero.
Find a suitable place where you would like to use the Volta 500 unit, and what equipment you wish to connect to the
Volta 500 unit. Please keep in mind that extension cables must be kept as short as possible and do not use extension
cables that are coiled while in use.
Please keep in mind the warnings mentioned in sections 2, 3 & 4 above before selecting a suitable position to place
your Volta 500 unit.

8.2 Operating Instructions Volta 500 Unit

Plug the Volta 500 unit (using the cable supplied) into the electrical mains (220-230 VAC 50Hz).
You can then utilise the Volta 500 unit to power the equipment you wish to power keeping in mind the unit's capacity
(220-240 VAC, 500W MAX).
The Volta 500 unit should function for two hours or more under full load while the mains power is off. This is dependent
upon the number of appliances plugged into the Volta 500 unit as well as the watts they require.
