3.4.4 Managing Fiber in Front Board Area

There are two fiber frames on the BYPASS OP9000 chassis for managing the fibers.
The fiber frames are attached to the two sides of the chassis, as shown in Figure
3-4.

Optical fibers should not be pulled too tight. During the routing, the rough
bending is prohibited and other cables can not be routed on the fibers.
The bending radius of the fiber is not allowed to be less than 40 mm.
The corrugated pipe cannot be loaded with too many optical fibers. Otherwise,
optical fibers may be pressed and dormant troubles may be caused. A
corrugated pipe with the diameter of 25 mm can be loaded with is
recommended to be 12 optical fibers with the diameter of 2 mm or 8 optical
fibers with the diameter of 3 mm.
Fiber strapping band is usually used when bundling optical fibers.
The fibers should be bound tidily and neatly with a nice appearance. All
fibers should be arranged smoothly with no crossover.
