- Page 2 To control more than 4 zones at a time we recommend using 2 or more COMPUTHERM Q5RF thermostats (1 Q5RF thermostat is needed per 4 zones). In this case, the potential-free connection points controlling the boiler (NO - COM) should be connected to the heater / cooler device in parallel and the zone outputs work separately.

Carbon-zinc batteries known as durable or long life batteries and charge- able accumulators are not suitable for the operation of this appliance. We recommend that you design the heating system you want to con- trol with the COMPUTHERM Q5RF thermostat so that the heating medium can cir- culate in the closed position of all zone valves when a circulating pump is switched on. - Page 9 2 A (0.5 A inductive).
