STEP 7
Installing the Aviary Roofing
7.1 For the aviary, use 1/2" x 6" wood siding and cut to the dimensions shown in the illustration below.
7.2 Cut a 1/4" x 3/4" starter course using pressure treated material as shown in Node J. The starter
course helps to maintain the correct angle for water run-off.
7.3 Assemble siding shields with 2" galvanized nails to the rafter.
7.4 Cut the last siding boards to connect them with frames.
