IP address detection

You need the IP address of the device to be able to do its configuration via a web browser.
There are different ways to obtain the IP address.
Below are two options on how you can get the IP address of the device.
With the Bosch Configuration Manager

To discover the IP address using Bosch Configuration Manager:

The information about a device is shown in bold if the device is newly detected since the last
network scan.
The information about a device is shown in red if the device has an IP address or a MAC
address that is already used by another device in the system. This might be the case, for
example, if several devices that have not yet been configured are connected directly after one
another.
With the Firmware Upload Tool
Another form of discovering the IP address of the device is via the Firmware upload tool.
To discover the IP address of the device using FWUT:

Make sure the IP address column shows up in the FWUT window. To add the IP address
column on the FWUT go to View, Select columns... and check the box of IP address.

You can quickly discover the IP address of your device using the Bosch Configuration
Manager. You can download this software from
downloadstore.boschsecurity.com.
Connect your device to the same network of your configuration PC.
In the navigation bar, select the Network Scan tab.
The Network Scan screen appears.
Every network device that is supported and detected on the network appears in the
screen.
Connect your device to the same network of your configuration PC.
Launch the FWUT.
The FWUT discovers the device and its IP address appears in the IP address tab.
