Diagnostic Messages
The diagnostic messages can display up to
8 characters made up of letters and num-
bers. Messages will only display when the
engine is not running. Press MODE to the
DIAG display. Press RESET to activate.
The display shows REQUEST? and then
BUSY while the messages are retrieved. To
exit, press MODE, turn off ignition or
crank the engine.
If all is OK, the message NO FAULTS is
displayed.
Air Filter Restriction Warning (option)
The air filter restriction gauge can be con-
nected to the instrument cluster so that
when the filter is clogged, a warning will
be displayed on the multifunction display.
The message FILTER is displayed and the
buzzer sounds with a "Beep-Beep" tone
when the igniton is turned on. The display
is on for 10 seconds unless interrupted by
cranking the engine.
