6 MULTI CONTROL function buttons
Used to set and operate MULTI CONTROL, and switch
the function.
TV CONTROL: Press to operate the TV.
7 SURROUND/PERSONAL button
[When setting MULTI operations]
PERSONAL: Press when setting the personal mode
using multi operations (P.42).
[When setting to other than MULTI opera-
tions]
SURROUND: Press when performing surround op-
erations (P.28 – P.35).
8 Number/surround setting buttons
[When setting surround (operations)]
PRO LOGIC: Turns Dolby Pro Logic ON/OFF.
DSP MODE: Switches the surround effects.
5-D THEATER: When turned ON, the rear channel sound
becomes stereo-like (deep and clear).
VIRTUAL: Switches the virtual surround effects.
5.1 CH: Use to set the DVD 5.1-channel input mode (DVD/
TV function only).
TEST TONE: When turned ON (while in Dolby Pro Logic
or DVD 5.1-channel input mode), volume balance adjust-
ment signals are output in order from the speakers and
can be adjusted.
CENTER –, +: Adjusts the center level.
REAR.L –, +: Adjusts the rear left level.
REAR.R –, +: Adjusts the rear right level.
[Tuner Operations]
Number buttons: Use for setting the frequency value
when station call is selected or during direct access.
+10: Switches the CLASS (A/B/C).
DISC: Use to set the DIRECT ACCESS mode.
[VCR Operations]
TV/VCR: Switches between TV/VCR.
[CD Operations]
DISC: Use to select the DISC number.
9 FUNCTION button
Switches the function.
0 MULTI OPERATION button (P.40 – P.42)
Use to operate MULTI operations.

Turns ON/OFF the power of devices other than this
unit.
