The T1 SFP uses an RJ-48C connector (see the following figure), which is
similar to an RJ-45 connection, but with different pinouts.

The T1 equipment at the far end of the T1 connection must also use
an RJ-48C jack. After the pinout of the RJ-48C jack at the far end is
determined, determine if a straight-through or crossover cable is required.
An off-the-shelf straight-through cable can be used to directly connect the
T1 SFP module and the far-end T1 equipment if the far end has the pinout
shown in the following table.
