UDP Port—The UDP port used by a Syslog server. (Range: 514 or
11024-65535; Default: 514)
Logging Console—Enables the logging of error messages to the console.
(Default: Disable)
Logging Level—Sets the minimum severity level for event logging. (Default:
Informational)
Specify a minimum severity level to limit the messages that are logged by
the system. The following table lists the error message levels from the most
severe (Emergency) to least severe (Debug). The message levels that are
logged include the specified minimum level up to the Emergency level.

Logging Facility Type—Sets the facility type for remote logging of syslog
messages. The command specifies the facility type tag sent in syslog
messages. (See RFC 3164.) This type has no effect on the kind of
messages reported by the switch. However, it can be used by the syslog
server to sort messages or to store messages in the corresponding
database. (Range: 16-23; Default: 16)

Note: The access point error log can be viewed using the Event Logs
window in the Status section (For further information, see
(page 108)). The Event Logs window displays the last 128 messages
logged in chronological order, from the newest to the oldest. Log
messages saved in the access point memory are erased when the
device is rebooted.
