♦ To start heating, press the on button
♦ NOTE: During the cooking phase, you can press the
pause button to stop the appliance, the timer will also
stop and display whatevertime remains. Press this
button again to resume the cooking phase.
♦ The fry er will beep when the cooking time has finished.
♦ Check to see that the food is cooked.
♦ If it is not, y ou only have to put the container back in
the fry er and program the timer to cook for a few more
minutes.
♦ Once cooking has finished, take the whole pan part
out of the appliance. The appliance will switch itself off
automaticall y .
♦ CAUTION: both the pan and the basket, as well as the
food, w ill be VERY hot.
♦ Place the pan on a surface that w ill w ithstand hi g h
temperatures.
♦ Separate the basket from the pan by using the basket
release button and then tip the food out w ithout any risk
of burning y ourself (Figure 1)
♦ Note: It is not necessary to w ait to reuse the air fry er
directly after cooking certain foods.
Once you have finished using the applian-
ce:
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
♦ Clean the appliance
Safety thermal protector
♦ The appliance has a safety device, which protects the
appliance from overheating.
♦ If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself
on again, unplug it from the mains suppl y and wait
approx imately 15 minutes before reconnecting it. If it
fails to sw itch on again, take it to one of the authorised
technical assistance services.
CLEANING
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool
before performing any cleaning task.
♦ Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with a few
drops of w ashing-up liquid and then dry.
♦ Do not use solv ents, orproducts with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasi v e products, for cleaning the
appliance.
♦ Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other
liquid, or place it under a running tap.
♦ It is adv isable to clean the applianceregularl y and
remov e any food remai n s.
