Faults - Possible causes - Solutions

Find a list of faults, causes and possible solutions for a set of fail-
ures that may occur and result in irregular burner operation or no
functioning at all.
If a burner malfunction is detected, first of all:
check that the electrical wiring is adequately connected;
check whether fuel is delivered;
check that every adjustment parameter is adequately set.

The ignition electrodes are badly adjusted, or
dirty
Electrode grounded due to broken insulation
Faulty or grounded high voltage cable
High voltage cable deformed by high tempera-
ture
Faulty ignition transformer
Incorrect valve or transformer electrical wiring
Defective control box
Pump unprimed
Motor/pump coupling broken
Pump suction line connected to return line
The valves upstream from the pump are closed Open them
Dirty filters (line - pump - nozzle)
Faulty photocell or control box
Dirty photocell
Wrong motor rotation direction
Photocell short-circuit
Extraneous light or flame simulation

In the event the burner stops, in order to prevent
any damage to the installation, do not unblock the
burner more than twice in a row. If the burner
locks out for a third time, contact the customer
WARNING
service.
In the event there are further lockouts or faults
with the burner, the maintenance interventions
must only be carried out by qualified, authorised
DANGER
personnel, in accordance with the contents of this
manual and in compliance with the standards and
regulations of current laws.
