    3505 24 X 2 page format. SYSTEM 3000 with CPU5 configuration can not be saved with WIN 3505. SYSTEM 3000 with CPU5 will require a new EE2 PROM Board 400349-0003 for MEM-600 chips. The 3000 CPU5 400349 board will not work in a SYSTEM 3505.

Refer to FIG 1a &2a 2.2 With the cover removed, pull the printer mechanism fully out. Then disconnect the printer MECH ribbon and power cable from the printer card.

    SYSTEM 3000 to 3505 CONVERSION MANUAL 3.6 CARD INSTALLATIONS 3.6.1 Insert the new power supply card, in to the slot marked PWR, pressing firmly and evenly down, until it is seated on the motherboard. See FIG 5a. FIG 5a 3.6.1.1 Connect the Black, Green and White wire coming from the EMI Filter to JP1.

    SYSTEM 3000 to 3505 CONVERSION MANUAL 3.7 PRINTER MECH INSTALLATION. 3.7.1 Pull the printer slide bracket to the front of the system, use the center hole and the protruding screw holder on the printer, to line up the screw holes for attaching the printer to the bracket.

  • Page 27 APPENDIX A PCB REWORK Before installation, turn on power to SYSTEM 3000. Check for 24 VDC at Pin 1 J6 Aux Port to chassis of rear panel to determine if you need to update (rework) the PCB. See Figure 1. If 24 VDC is not present, continue with the steps below. If the 24 VDC is present, continue with the T-Bar installation and disregard these instructions.
