SHUTTING DOWN YOUR FLAT TOP GRILL

THE SHUTDOWN PROCESS EXPLAINED
The shutdown cycle is crucial to the success and high-quality performance of your Traeger® Flatrock Flat Top Grill.
Turn all knobs to the OFF ( ) position, wait until the cooktop is
cool, close the lid, and turn the propane tank valve closed. Once the
flame sensor light is off, the Flat Top Grill is no longer on and will start
cooling down.
TIP:
Always oil cooktop per instructions in "When Cooking is
Completed" prior to shutdown.
2
Empty and discard the keg liner. Line the EZ-Clean™ Grease Keg with
a new liner and slide it back into the bracket on the bottom of the Flat
Top Grill (you will feel it "drop" into place when installed fully).
TIP:
Ensure the contents of the Keg are cool before discarding.
