Ri 1000 Replace Solenoid Unit
Introduction
This TD&R document is intended to aid RICOH Ri 1000 users in providing maintenance
and basic repair service. The information provided is intended to help with performing a
Solenoid Unit replacement. Accordingly this TD&R document is limited to meet the
objectives indicated above.
The majority of the hardware used in the RICOH Ri 1000 Direct to Garment printer is in
Metric series.
When performing maintenance on the machine, be sure to wear commercially available
goggles, gloves and a mask.
Scope
This applies to RICOH Ri 1000 printers.
Symptoms/ When To Change
Ink supply error occurs – all or many channels – you do not see solenoid move during
strong clean
Supplies
Required supplies:
1. Solenoid Unit (J0170401)
2. #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver
3. 5.5mm nut driver (optional)
