Chapter 2—Running the EasyLAN Network Setup
Saving Confi guration to CompactFlash
• These two screen are shown consecutively when a confi guration is
saved on a CompactFlash memory card.
• Click on the Closed button, switch off the printer, and remove the
card.
You can use the confi guration CompactFlash card to confi gure or
reconfi gure other printers this way:
• Make sure the printer is switched off and insert the card.
• After initialization, the EasyLAN interface in the printer is
automatically confi gured according to the settings saved on the card
while the text "Confi guring from Flash Card" is shown in the display
window.
• Switch off the printer and remove the card.
• You can now repeat the procedure with next printer, and so on.
Caution. The confi guration on the card may contain
sensitive information. Keep the card in a safe place!
