The GreenWorks GPW 3000 recommends using only pressure washer-approved detergents. Do not use household detergents, acids, alkalines, bleaches, solvents, flammable materials, or industrial-grade solutions, as they can damage the pump.

On page 10 of the manual it says to connect to the power supply. I don't see where a power cord goes. Am i missing something?

The power cord on the GreenWorks GPW 3000 connects to the electrical outlet, and extension cords should have watertight connections and be rated for outdoor use. A drip loop is recommended to prevent water from running along the cord to the outlet.
