6. Operation

6.3 Hot Plugging

B021-SWHD-K supports hot plugging – devices can be removed and added to the console by unplugging their cables
from the ports without needing to shut down the console.

6.4 Powering Off and Restarting

If it becomes necessary to Power OFF the B021-SWHD-K (to upgrade the firmware, for example), simply turn off the
power to the unit using the rear-panel power switch. To restart the B021-SWHD-K, turn the rear-panel power switch to ON.

6.5 Port ID Numbering and Port Selection

If you connect a KVM switch to the B021-SWHD-K, Port ID numbering and Port Selection follow the method used by the
connected KVM switch. Consult your KVM switch's Owner's Manual for details.
