Many common problems can be solved easily by utilizing the chart below. For more serious or persistent problems, contact a

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ALWAYS disconnect battery pack from tool before
all repairs.
sYMPTOM
Headlights don't come on when secondary
trigger is depressed
Dryfire lockout is engaged when secondary
trigger is depressed
Tool does not actuate when secondary and
primary triggers are depressed
Headlights flash after the secondary and primary
triggers have been depressed
Tool operates but does not drive fasteners fully

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

CAUsE
Dryfire lockout is engaged.
Low battery charge or damaged battery.
Battery pack not fully inserted.
Damaged or dirty internal electronics
Dryfire lockout is engaged due to low nail count.
Pin jammed in magazine and/or nose.
Damaged or dirty internal electronics.
Dryfire lockout is engaged.
Tool has timed out if triggers are held on for
10-20 seconds and tool will power down.
Damaged or dirty internal electronics
Low charge battery pack.
Tool internal electronics need to be reset.
Damaged or dirty internal electronics.
Depth adjust set too shallow.
Tool not firmly applied to workpiece.
Material and fastener length.
Pins inserted backwards.
Damaged driver blade.
Worn or damaged mechanism.
FiX
Load pins into magazine.
Check charge level if pack shows state-of-
charge. Charge or replace battery pack if
necessary.
Check that battery is fully inserted.
See authorized service center.
Load pins into magazine.
Clean magazine and/or nose area and watch
closely for small pieces of broken pins stuck in
the nail channel.
See authorized service center.
Load pins into magazine.
Release primary and secondary triggers for
automatic electronic reset.
See authorized service center.
Check charge level if pack shows state-of-
charge. Charge battery pack if necessary.
Remove battery, wait 3 seconds and reinsert.
See authorized service center.
Rotate depth adjust to a deeper setting.
Apply adequate force to tool securing it tightly
to workpiece.
Make sure that the pin type and size are
appropriate for the application and material
selection.
Check that the pins are loaded into the magazine
in the correct orientation.
Order and install replacement driver blade
assembly.
