Tool operates but no fastener is driven
Driver blade continues to get stuck in down
position

CAUsE
Wrong size and/or type fastener.
Driver blade stuck down.
Nail alignment issue.
Debris or jammed pin in nose and/or magazine.
Nail feeding issue.
Tool may be too cold if used below operable
temperatures.
Worn or damaged mechanism.
Dirty drive path
Jammed pin
Damaged driver blade
Worn or damaged seals
Lack of internal lubrication
Wrong size and/or type fastener
Material and fastener length
Debris in nose or magazine
Nail feeding issue
Damaged driver blade
Damaged magazine

Refer to "Driver blade continues to get stuck in
down position" symptom, found below.
Sticks of pins should be loaded with the tips at
the front of the magazine. All pins in magazine
should be of equal length.
Clean magazine and/or nose area and watch
closely for small pieces of broken pins stuck in
the nail channel.
Check that pins are loaded properly.
With nose pressed against scrap workpiece,
cycle the tool until it begins firing pins.
