PREPARATION

- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert two batteries (micro type, 1.5 V, LR 06/AM3/AA) in the battery compartment. Make sure the polarity of the battery is as marked on the bottom of the compartment.
- Push the battery compartment cover back in.
Note: If you are not going to use the device for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the compartment. Remove a flat battery immediately.
Batteries, including those which are free of heavy metal, must not be disposed of with household waste. Please dispose of used batteries in an environmentally sound manner. Observe the legal regulations which apply in your area.
RADIO MODE
- Turn »ON/OFF« to the left to switch on the device.
- You can connect the earphones to the»
« socket. - Adjust the volume with »VOL
«. - Use »FM BAND MW« to select the frequency band (FM or MW)
– The radio has a built-in rod antenna for MW reception. Turn the device to point the antenna. - Use »TUNING« to tune to a station.
- Turn »ON/OFF« to the right to switch off the device.
Stereo earphone volume
Excessive volume can be dangerous to yourself and other road users.
Listen at a volume which allows you to hear outside noises such as horns, emergency vehicles and police cars.
Cleaning
Do not use any cleaning agent, as this may damage the casing. Clean the device with a clean, moist leather cloth.
