The idea behind QBI is to fulfill two fundamental functions when patching: -Duplicate a signal -Invert a signal These are two basic yet important and essential functions when patching. But even though they are important, we wanted them to take up as little space as possible.

Page 4 B, C and D will be an inverted or non-inverted copy of input 1 when no jack is connected to the respective inputs. You can therefore use QBI as buffered multiples or OUTPUT 2 inverted buffered mutliples and disconnect one or more sections to use them as inverted for a different signal.
